Nyungwe Rainforest Adventure

Canopy views, forest trails and primate-rich wilderness in Rwanda's spectacular southwest.

Experience overview

A personal experience, planned around you.

Nyungwe works as a focused one-day forest experience or a slower two-day stay. Eric can combine the canopy walkway with hiking, tea country and, subject to availability, dedicated primate tracking.

Good to know

Before you go

  • Rain is possible throughout the year; carry a light rain jacket.
  • Trails can be muddy, so good walking shoes are recommended.
  • Primate tracking should be arranged in advance.
  • Nyungwe links naturally with Lake Kivu, Huye and Nyanza.
