Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda

Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda

A private journey to Volcanoes National Park and one of Africa's most unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Experience overview

A personal experience, planned around you.

Eric can arrange the gorilla trek as a stand-alone day from Musanze or build it into a longer Rwanda itinerary. Trekking time varies because the gorillas move through the forest, so the day stays deliberately flexible.

Good to know

Before you go

  • A gorilla trekking permit is required and availability can be limited.
  • Wear sturdy walking shoes, long trousers and layers; rainforest weather can change quickly.
  • Porters are a useful addition and provide local employment.
  • Fitness requirements vary because every trek is different.
